When we met  for the first time,  u seemed to be really sweet, and  the more I got to know you , the sweeter I found you as a person. You are an extremely Genuine person, who  is always there  for us.

We have got to know each other better since last semester and  I think you are an amazing person, with a BIG heart....Just remain the way you are. ..... and keep smiling the way u do!

Though we think differently  many times, and you hate these  girlish  gestures,  I love the way you subtly  put it across.   Your humour and BIG smile  just makes you the best company at all times.

Crusader Prathiba...that’s what I thought you were, what with your solitary war against all things plastic (of both the polymer and human variety).  Fiercely independent and with a strong sense of right and wrong, you could have been so intimidating to people. But no! You had AIM folk eating out of your hand! Our very own Rajni, with her legion of followers. (Maybe your childlike enthusiasm and self-proclaimed sense of humor helped).

PBha... The environment cleanliness queen... Use plastic bags in front of her and she would give you that disappointed look. The girl who never gets tired of running and the rain Gods to shower their delight coz it rains each time she goes for a jog... :)... If you get the camera towards her to click her she would run far away... yet she loves clicking photographs (Your Vietnam/Cambodia snaps are testimony to that). To that I forgot to add... she is also hug-phobic! Wow... I like that word! J

She and I have had common crushes... let me not name them here! ;) Hope we don't end up dating the same guy some day! I would be damn kicked about it PBHa! ;) lol... A quick learner... she beat me in table tennis hands down after a couple of coaching sessions from Mehdi! My first impression about you when I first met you was that you were arrogant , disinterested , aloof , nerdy( I think you can probably understand the other adjectives which can follow ). The funny thing is I still think you are most of those things. My impression about you hasn’t changed much in the one year but my feelings have. Over time I understood how a person like you functions ( financial calculator), breathes (the classic cold ) , runs ( PT Usha ), eats (sorry can’t resist being nasty like a pig or a glutton ) , reads ( CFA) ,  fights(Bindi ) , hates(----------- ?) , loves ( me;)) , CPs and dances ( Chennai Super Kings theme song ).

While writing these beautiful things, I can’t understand how I fell in love with you. Please do a good case analysis and give me an answer for this one.

Lastly , I think you have it in you to find a place in the museum and people should spend money to just get a glance of you..

When I first saw u on the third floor lobby at AIM, I thought you were an athletic , bold , strong girl in a world of her own  and I thought we would never talk .. I don’t think we spoke at all in SEM1. I don’t know who broke the ice and how ,but I’m glad we did it . I’m glad you are one of my closest friends here today. I know I can always rely on you ..( for everything but keeping a secret :P)  

Since this is a birthday message I am going to write good stuff about you ONLY.. ;) (Except the fact that u give me negative points all the time: P... but we’ll talk about it on some other day )

Prats..! I admire you for a million reasons (Don’t be shocked  ...i knowww I’ve never told you this). You are one in a million in many ways. Love the way you are sooo passionate about finance.  Prathibha a.k.a Pbha and now Peebs!!

A year back when i first walked into AIM, you were among the first few I met and little did I know that you will be among the elite few with who I'd get really close to!.. ;) hahaa

I remember that basket ball was the first thing that got us connected. I was so happy that I found someone equally enthusiastic as me for the game. But i could never have guessed that you would be so good at the game. Thats when I started to admire you.

We got talking more often and I realized that you read a lot and know insane amount of stuff on movies and music. I used to come to you to give me the names of movies that are a must watch...lol...I am yet to watch all of them though!.. :)

Term one come to an end and when I was back in January, I heard that Miss Pbha had gone around Vietnam all by herself. The first girl I had come across who never hesitated for a moment and was ever excited to travel all by herself to another country with a different language...

A few months after this...there was another shocker headed my way!...You had read the entire Mahabharata. And to top this, you had made English summaries of each chapter to educate a few lazy souls like me!..

I was just in awe of you. This girl is good at everything one can think of!!!...And what makes you stand apart is your simplicity. You came across as the simple, confident, independent girl who is awesome in what ever she takes up - be it a game of basket ball, following music, reading books, traveling or even a game of scrabble....Your truely are a ROCKSTAR!! :)

The best part was that it wasn't just me who admired you to pieces, everybody around was so fond of you, everybody wanted to be a part of your friend's circle. You redefined the word 'Popularity' at AIM in your own special way!! :)  

How can I forget the ice cream breaks!!..You were an integral part of my support system at AIM. During each of those numerous occasions, when I was about to give in to the mundane or the hopelessness around, you were there to lift my spirits and bring me out of it. Sometimes that 10 mins of walk and having an ice cream with you was all I needed to lift my moods...You were, you are and you will always be someone who is really special to me.

Prathiba: From usual Canmate to beautiful Nunbun (i hope I got the word right, otherwise LN is gone !)

The 1st day I saw you was when the can group was formed and we had to share the "100 things I want to do before I die", only thing we had common was we both want to run marathon someday.. Otherwise we were always on the war whether it is LOB case or Eco presentation... I used to feel, what stubborn girl is she, how she can not understand such a minuscule thing.. And when the prof says the same thing in class the next day, that’s Ok with her!! May be i was not explaining you in a precise way..
You remember the Lob case - "Stafford Press" we had all the answers different, and MCS case "Better Living", I want to confess that on that day I wanted to run away... :-)
But the things with you changed for good...I realized you are the Neo of our can group (who can bind the group sometimes with aggressiveness and sometimes with ultimate maturity).The way you handled some of our presentation (when I thought we are gone, worst performing we are... You pinched in with your super intelligence ;-) )  Thanks for that...!!

I don’t know when you became from a usual can-mate to a very close friend. Best thing we did together was group WAC (don’t remember the name now). And how can I miss the talks in between the lectures and usual bitching about class with you. (Bindiya was the default target J )
When I visualize of you, either you are running or you are giggling like a kid on poolside (of course waiting for Lhez’s plain rice). (and sometimes complaining and cribbing in usual Pbha style.. !!... but thats cute).... I want to write more but Lakshmi wants this to be mailed to her fast... :-(
We will miss you when we pass out of AIM.
